Viewing Party for Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip!

Rotolo’s Pizzeria, 201 Decatur Street, will host a viewing party for “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” on Monday, December 4. That night’s episode of the NBC series will feature New Orleans musicians Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, Kirk Joseph, Kid Merv, Roderick Paulin, Bob French, Steve Walker and Frederick Shepherd as part of the special house band of the behind-the-scenes drama.

The viewing party will begin at 7pm with the episode airing at 9pm. Several of the musicians in the episode will appear at the party.

Update! For those who watched the show, you couldn't help but be moved by the tribute to New Orleans as performed by Trombone Shorty and the rest of the New Orleans musicians involved. Watch the clip, and experience it for yourself.
