The Ultimate Thanksgiving Weekend Party
Mark your calendars for this Saturday...
Putumayo World Music and Southern Comfort are throwing a great party on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. It's "Down By The Riverside," a free concert of Thanksgiving, Saturday, November 26, from 1-5pm at Woldenberg Park.
Celebrate the music and culture of New Orleans with Kermit Ruffins and the Barbecue Swingers, Jon Cleary with Walter "Wolfman" Washington, John Boutte, Wanda Rouzan, and other special guests.
It gets underway with the Hot 8 Brass Band leading a second line beginning at 10am from Sweet Lorraine's (1931 St. Claude) and going down Esplanade, Decatur, and Canal to the River.
